Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund has announced two key developments for its investors. First, fresh subscriptions to the Baroda BNP Paribas Aqua Fund of Fund will resume on 3 August 2026. Second, Chief Investment Officer (Equity) Sanjay Chawla will retire on 31 July 2026.
The fund house had temporarily suspended new subscriptions on 22 July to avoid breaching regulatory limits on overseas investments. The pause was lifted with the latest notice.
Investors can now invest from 3 August using lump‑sum purchases, additional purchases, switch‑ins, or by setting up SIPs, STPs, and other eligible transactions. All existing terms and conditions of the scheme continue to apply.
The asset management company reserves the right to suspend subscriptions again if the scheme approaches its permissible overseas investment headroom. Any such decision will be communicated through a separate notice, while the Scheme Information Document and Key Information Memorandum remain unchanged.
Baroda BNP Paribas Asset Management says Sanjay Chawla will retire upon reaching the superannuation age, effective at the close of business on 31 July 2026. The AMC will delete all references to him from the Statement of Additional Information and other documents, and this notice forms part of the SAI.
