Moneyview's Maiden Public Issue
Moneyview, a digital lending platform backed by marquee global names Accel, Tiger Global, and Ribbit Capital, has filed a red herring prospectus with the Registrar of Companies to launch its maiden public issue on September 24, 2026.
Key Details of the IPO
The company will raise Rs 750 crore via issuance of fresh shares, while promoters and investors will be selling up to 10.04 crore equity shares via offer-for-sale (OFS). Founders and promoters Puneet Agarwal and Sanjay Aggarwal, along with investors including Accel, Tiger Global Management, Ribbit Capital, DI Investment, and Crimson Winter will be selling shareholders in the OFS.
Reduced Issue Size
The credit‑led financial services platform operator has reduced its fresh issue size from Rs 1,500 crore, and OFS from 13.6 crore equity shares planned earlier.
IPO Schedule
The price band details will be announced separately by the company on September 21. The one‑day anchor book will be opened for institutional investors on September 23, while the issue will remain open for the public till September 28. The IPO share allotment will be finalised by September 29, and trading in Moneyview shares will commence on October 1.
Shareholding and Financials
As of September 20, Accel is the largest shareholder in Moneyview with a 21.89 % stake, followed by Tiger Global Group (13.79 %), promoter Sanjay Aggarwal (10.33 %), Ribbit Capital (10.2 %) and Puneet Agarwal (8.66 %).
In the quarter ended June 2026, Moneyview’s profit surged to Rs 173.8 crore, up 158.8 % from Rs 67.15 crore a year earlier, while revenue rose 50.2 % to Rs 1,041.1 crore.
Utilisation of Funds
Moneyview will allocate Rs 325 crore of net fresh‑issue proceeds to expand loan disbursals under default‑loss‑guarantee arrangements, Rs 250 crore to bolster the capital base of its subsidiary Whizdm Finance (WFPL), and the balance for general corporate purposes.
