Funding Milestone and Valuation Superhealth has secured a $10 million round, with veteran entrepreneur Ronnie Screwvala leading the investment. The funding is expected to value the Bengaluru‑based startup at $100 million, a significant jump from the $30 million valuation it held in 2025. This marks the fourth capital infusion since the company’s founding in 2024, following rounds in December 2024, May 2025 and August 2025.
The round also attracts backing from former India cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, venture firms Sparrow Capital, Boundless Ventures and Panthera Peak, along with several angel investors. Ronnie Screwvala’s portfolio spans consumer tech, AI, deeptech and space technology, and he plans to back roughly 15 startups over the next 12‑15 months.
Growth Strategy and Services Superhealth opened its inaugural hospital in Bengaluru’s Koramangala in September 2025 and now aims to expand its network across the city. The firm offers fixed‑price medical procedures under the Superbirth, Superskin, Supersmile and Supersurgery programmes, operating on a zero‑commission clinical model.
A key differentiator is SuperOS, an in‑house AI operating system that streamlines outpatient consultations, inpatient care, diagnostics, surgery scheduling, pharmacy and discharge processes. Additionally, the company has introduced an annual Rs 3,999 subscription that covers up to four family members, granting unlimited consultations and diagnostic services.
Controversy and Leadership The startup faced backlash after hosting a late‑night ‘live music night’ on its non‑clinical floors on 22 August, with critics labeling the event tone‑deaf and insensitive. Founder and CEO Varun Dubey, a former Chief Revenue Officer at Apollo Hospitals and former CMO of Ola Electric and Practo, defended the initiative, stating it was meant to make hospitals less intimidating.
In a recent staffing move, Superhealth hired Dalvir Singh Suri, co‑founder of Dunzo, as Head of Operations. The leadership team, which also includes former Practo strategy officer Alexander Kuruvilla and founding member Manoj Kumar, is steering the company toward rapid expansion while navigating public perception challenges.
