Launch Details & Investment Horizon Quantum Mutual Fund has introduced the Quantum Flexi Cap Fund, an open‑ended dynamic equity scheme that will launch its New Fund Offer (NFO) on 21 August and close on 4 September. After the NFO window, the fund will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase from 11 September. Investors can start with a minimum of ₹500, with subsequent investments in single‑rupee increments. The scheme’s benchmark is the BSE 500 TRI, aligning it with broad Indian equity performance.

Investment Philosophy & Strategy The Flexi Cap Fund adopts a Growth at a Reasonable Price (GARP) framework, aiming to identify structural changes—termed "Profit Pool Shifts"—within industry value chains. These shifts may arise from disruption, consolidation, evolving consumer preferences or regulatory changes. The investment team evaluates companies for business quality, management capability, earnings sustainability and corporate governance before assessing valuations. The fund seeks high‑growth, sustainably balanced firms and will reduce exposure when valuations become excessive, ensuring a disciplined, research‑led bottom‑up approach across large, mid and small caps.

Management & Market Outlook Chirag Mehta, Chief Investment Officer, will lead the fund alongside Fund Manager Ketan Gujarathi. Mehta highlighted India’s ongoing structural transformations—driven by rising aspirations, formalisation of the economy, technological disruption, policy reforms and changing consumer tastes—as key opportunities for profit‑pool rebalancing. Chief Executive Officer Seemant Shukla noted that this NFO, launched nearly two years after the previous offer, is designed to add meaningful value to investors and strengthen Quantum’s distribution ecosystem. The fund’s strategy positions it to capture growth across India’s evolving market while maintaining a prudent valuation lens.
