Atom Group announced that it has received approval from the Dubai Financial Services Authority to change control of Amaltas Partners Limited, a DIFC‑regulated firm. Under the transaction, Atom Privé Global Holdings will become the controlling entity, giving the group a direct presence in the DIFC.
The development is significant for Indian investors with interests in India, UAE and other markets. It will enable them to access services such as wealth structuring, investment advisory, risk management and cross‑border solutions from a DIFC‑based platform.
Harsha Vardhana, Founder and Group CEO of Atom Group, said the approval marks a milestone and shows intent. He added that it enhances institutional credibility and reinforces Dubai’s role as a bridge between Indian wealth, Gulf capital and global markets.
Dubai has become a key destination for Indian entrepreneurs, professionals, HNIs and family offices looking to set up businesses, diversify assets or manage international wealth.
Atom Group’s new DIFC platform will be led by Naveen Rastogi, Global CIO of its Multi‑Family Office, who has been appointed CEO and Group CIO of the acquired entity. He emphasized that Amaltas already has a strong client‑centric franchise in the DIFC.
Rastogi said the focus will be on maintaining continuity for existing clients while gradually introducing Atom Group’s full range of services, from multi‑family office and risk advisory to investment banking and cross‑border solutions.
For investors, the key benefit lies in coordinating financial needs across jurisdictions. Families with businesses or investments in multiple countries may need advice on investments, succession, risk management and cross‑border structuring.
The expansion comes amid deepening India‑UAE economic ties. Atom Group’s DIFC presence, combined with its India operations and Singapore holding structure, will allow it to advise families and businesses moving capital and wealth across these markets.
Harsha added that India and UAE are becoming intertwined financial ecosystems. The DIFC platform will help Indian families globalise their wealth while giving international clients a trusted gateway into India’s growth story.
However, a DIFC‑based wealth platform is not a substitute for India‑regulated investment products. Investors looking at overseas structures must evaluate taxation, regulatory requirements, currency risk and remittance rules.
