Quant Mutual Fund has launched two new investment schemes to broaden its product range.

The quant Silver ETF NFO opened on 17 August and will close on 19 August. It aims to generate returns that match the performance of physical silver in domestic prices, subject to tracking error. The minimum investment required is Rs 2,000.

Silver is positioned as a diversification asset because of its relatively low historical correlation with Indian equities. Quant’s data shows a correlation of 0.15 with the Nifty 50 and 0.14 with the Nifty 500 based on monthly returns from June 2005 to July 2026.

According to Quant’s global research framework, qGR, the silver market is expected to see a durable bottoming process in the second half of 2026. The current price levels are seen as a potential entry point for adding silver exposure.

The World Silver Survey 2026 reports that global silver demand has outpaced supply for six consecutive years, creating a cumulative shortfall of 23,704 tonnes through 2026.

The quant Income Plus Arbitrage Active FOF is an open‑ended fund of funds that will invest in arbitrage and actively managed debt mutual funds. Its NFO opened on 17 August and will close on 31 August.

This FOF follows an open‑architecture approach, allowing investment in both third‑party and Quant schemes. Allocation will be managed dynamically based on the fund house’s macro outlook, combining debt and arbitrage funds and adjusting duration as needed.

The benchmark for the Income Plus Arbitrage Active FOF is 40% Nifty 50 Arbitrage Index (TRI) and 60% Nifty Composite Debt Index. The minimum application amount is Rs 5,000, with no entry or exit load. The scheme will be managed by Sameer Kate, Sanjeev Sharma, and Varun Pattani.
