Shiprocket IPO to Finalise Allotment Today After 100x Subscription

Shiprocket is set to finalise the allotment for its ₹1,617.48‑crore IPO on Aug 17. The issue received almost 100 times subscription during the three‑day bidding period.

Insurance companies such as Tata AIA Life, Axis Max Life and Edelweiss Life were allotted 53.41 lakh shares worth ₹51.8 crore.

Shiprocket plans to use ₹365.6 crore of the fresh issue proceeds for marketing, technology infrastructure and capabilities, and ₹210 crore for repayment or prepayment of borrowings. The remaining proceeds will fund acquisitions and general corporate purposes.

Axis Capital, BofA Securities India, JM Financial and Kotak Mahindra Capital Company served as book‑running lead managers.

The company reported a net loss of ₹79.2 crore in FY26, up from ₹74.4 crore in FY25. Revenue grew 24 percent year‑on‑year to ₹2,024.1 crore from ₹1,632 crore.
