Manappuram Finance, a gold‑loan non‑banking finance company, announced its first‑quarter results for FY27 on Tuesday. The company posted a consolidated profit of ₹585 crore, compared with ₹132 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Total income for the quarter rose to ₹3,040 crore, up from ₹2,265 crore in the April‑June quarter of FY26. Interest income climbed to ₹2,998 crore, higher than the ₹2,201 crore earned in the same period last year.
Net interest income (NII) reached ₹1,759 crore, marking a 25% increase over the ₹1,407 crore recorded in Q1 FY26. Meanwhile, total expenses grew to ₹2,259 crore, slightly higher than the ₹2,163 crore reported in the previous fiscal year.
In its regulatory filing, the board declared an interim dividend of 50% or ₹1 per equity share of face value ₹2. The company’s assets under management (AUM) jumped 57% to ₹69,635 crore during the quarter.
Gold‑loan AUM expanded dramatically, reaching ₹57,006 crore—a growth of 97.9% compared to the same period last year. These figures underscore Manappuram Finance’s strong performance and its expanding loan portfolio in the gold‑loan segment.
