Rajesh Bhatia, former Chief Investment Officer of ITI Asset Management, announced his exit after nine years on LinkedIn on August 8. He will launch his own firm, Inspire Capital Management, and begin new investment strategies.
The new venture will introduce the Inspire Capital Multiplier Fund, an Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) Category III. The fund will focus on leveraged and high‑risk, high‑return strategies and aim to attract investors seeking alternative exposure.
During his time at ITI AMC, Bhatia built the ITI Long‑Short Fund from scratch and led the mutual fund business as CIO. His work established a strong legacy for the company.
Bhatia thanked Sudhir Valia and the ITI Group for giving him the chance to develop the long‑short strategy. He praised the team that helped grow the business and believes the fund’s success will continue under new leadership.
He expressed gratitude to colleagues and supporters at ITI AMC, highlighting the people who guided him over the past nine years. He said the transition is smooth and positive.
Inspire Capital Management will soon begin operations. Investors can expect updates on the launch timeline, and Bhatia remains optimistic about the future of his new venture.
