BlueStone Jewellery and Lifestyle shares rose to ₹732.45 per share on the NSE, hitting the 20‑percent upper circuit on Tuesday. The jump followed the company’s announcement of a consolidated net profit for the June quarter.

For the first quarter of FY27, BlueStone posted a net profit of ₹5.96 crore, compared with a net loss of ₹34.74 crore in the same quarter a year earlier. Total income grew 49 percent to ₹751.81 crore from ₹504.74 crore, while total expenses increased to ₹744.82 crore from ₹538.45 crore.

Chief Executive Gaurav Singh Kushwaha said the result was especially satisfying because it came despite the rise in custom duty on gold from 6 percent to 15 percent. He added that the company expanded its retail network to 352 stores across 139 cities, including five new Tier‑2 and Tier‑3 locations.

BlueStone, launched in 2011, offers a range of jewellery including diamond, gold, platinum and studded pieces. The company’s performance shows resilience amid changing duty rates and a growing customer base.

Investors see the profit turnaround and network expansion as positive signals for BlueStone’s future growth and market presence.
